2007-2019: Worked for an international intellectual patent law firm in Tokyo for about 3 years, engaged in drafting patent specifications, etc., mainly in the fields of mechanical structure and information technology. Passed the patent attorney examination in one attempt during his tenure. After his career as a patent attorney, he has served as a head of the administrative department including domestic and overseas patent management departments. During his career as a head of the administrative department, he was engaged in office management, staff training on intellectual property management, and business improvement for about 10 years. He is familiar with the intellectual property practices of overseas and has experience in setting up and working for an overseas branch (US) of the firm.

 Mr. Kubo supported setting up an administrative department of KYOGAKU INTERNATIONAL PATENT OFFICE and officially joined the firm in July 2019. He serves as a Back-Office Operation Manager of domestic and overseas patent management departments.
